About

Commons Sense is a political media project that aims to inform, educate and hopefully entertain along the way, spawned from the brilliant minds of two postgraduates who reckon they know more than they probably do.

Commons Sense was conceived on a standard night at a beer garden in Hull. Tired of listening to Patrick’s rants every time they saw each other, Eamonn suggested they write a blog, so he didn’t have to suffer this fate alone. You’re welcome.

Patrick and Eamonn have known each other since 2003 having grown up in Hull together.
